Hi, all: In addition to the Neupogen injections, which I started today, my doc has added Mozobil beginning the night before my stem cell harvesting on Tuesday. How has this drug affected anyone else? It looks really good in the literature, and given the side effects of Neupogen, I'm hoping the Mozobil won't add to the burden. On the other hand, anything that increases the potential for a faster harvest is a very good deal. Hope you are all well and enjoying the onset of spring. Lois |

I'm sorry Lois, but I haven't experienced those drugs. I had neulasta....brought some substantial bone pain with it about 6 days after injection. However, not everyone rides the bone pain ride. I sure hope all goes well with your harvest and future transplant. Best of luck to you Doug |

Hi Lois, my husband was hard to mobilize (7 days) and was on nupagen twice a day. He actually had no bone pain (or very very little) so who knows why. Every one is definately different in this process, but as long as we all get Complete Remission, it's fine! Good luck. dpcaregiver |
