Hi everyone, Now you can connect directly with the licensed clinical social workers at Huntsman Cancer Institute in our online support group! This is another online service that Huntsman Cancer Institute is offering myeloma patients and caregivers in addition to our Myeloma Chat. While the Myeloma Chat was set up to discuss general questions and comments about myeloma and share stories, this group focuses more on dealing with the emotional issues and life changes related to a cancer diagnosis, since emotional and physical health go hand-in-hand. This online support group is facilitated by the Patient and Family Support team in the Huntsman Cancer Institute BMT/Myeloma Program, who are available to answer any questions you may have. The group also allows people to connect with other patients and caregivers who may be experiencing similar struggles and situations. The group is open to anyone and not just HCI patients. |
