Hi, my father is sick sick sick.He is 78 diagnosed 5 years ago, has been on the following treatments..Dex, )DVT) Thalidomide, Velcade, Revlimed. Velcade he didnt tolerate at all, revlimed was tolerable but proved to be ineffective after 3 cycles. He has such bad perphial neuropathy from being on Thalidomide for so long, although that drug kept his numbers in check and he was great while on that, but it stopped working...My dad sees a leading MM specialist in Ohio and they are discussing a clinical trial now HOWEVER...I met at lady briefly who was being treated at this clinic in Bahamas called the ITL Cancer Clinice. They specialize in Immmune_Augmentive therapy..She was unable to walk when she went there, she was stage 3 MM..She went there and she can run now, has more energy than a healthy person, and no signs of MM..She goes there twice a year, for followup treatments, and has to give herself a shot every hour for like 5 hours every day. I am trying to get more specifics on her treatment.. Has anyone else been there or heard of anyone being treated sucessfully or not sucessfully there?? Im trying to get more info for my father, her treatments seem to have no side effects. Any information is greatly appreciated,
