| Daignosed with MM-Stage IIA-33% maligant. Age 58. Decided on 2 stem cell transplants after 3 regimines of chemo. Did not practice good protective measurers during recovery and contracted pnemonia and almost lost the fight, but I perserveered. Second transplant easier due to good protection and limited contact with others who were sick or just had a cold. Success of my treatments, besides Dr. Tricot, were a combination of diet, exercise, positive-attitude & prayer. Cannot over express the importance of all these in recovery and long-term survival. As anyone will discover as they go through any protocol, the journey is never as difficult as the discussion and explanation by the doctors and staff, which initially is quite tramatic and over-whelming.

I will be going to the Huntsman cancer institute in SLC. I have my first set of testing is on Tuesday ......so I will find out on the 12th what the game plan will be.

We will be at Huntsman on Tuesday morning to see Dr. Zangari. My husband has had 2 transplants (last one May 8th) and is now on maintenance for a year. He is doing very well. Tell the receptionist to point Kim and denese out while you are there if you want someone to talk to. Be happy to share our experience or help anyway we can.

| You will be with the best doctors. I knew him and Tricot at Arkansas and their reputation is impecable. A close friend did not harvest after being diagonised and waited almost 3+ years until it was almost too late. The doctors at SLC saved her.

Congrats Cranky! Great inspiration...love to hear about the success. I couldn't agree more with you and your comments about Dr. Tricot. You can't pick a better field general to go into battle with. He hits hard; he hits fast....the myeloma doesn't know what's hit it.

| Doug, how long have you been with Tricot? Where do you live. I live in GA, along way from SLC, but worth the time & expense to stay with the MAN.

I live here in camp happy Utah. I've been with the General since Nov 07...when first dx. I'm still amazed how blessed I am that John Huntsman brought Dr. Tricot, his family and team to Utah just a few months prior to my dx. Had he not been here, I'm sure I would have ended up with a generalized onco receiving rads, velcade, and rev. Might have worked for a while, but I'm much more confident in a sustained remisson having received the tandem treatment plan of Dr. Tricot.
I've met others who have been treated by Dr. Tricot who reside in GA. You guys are warriors!

| I see Tricot again in January. Good luck with your continued treatment. I always ask Tricot when my schedule can be 1x/yr, and he stated never, so god bless Huntsman & Tricot for their contribution & effots to conquor this disease.
